Group sessions will be offered for preparing for various state mandated exit tests for different grades. These sessions will focus on the format or blue-print of the different state tests (ISTEP, TEKS, etc.), how to prepare for them and provide support for different topics covered on the tests.
The sessions will also include diagnostic tests and self-assessment modules for the tests. A preview of such diagnostic tests is available at:

The Writing Lab offers a series of courses aimed at helping improve the writing skills of a student. One such course is the SAT preparatory course - it consists of a series of ten essays, each starting with a "brainstorming" session with a tutor, a series of grammar diagnostic quizzes and at least one revision process. By the end of the course, the students have a deep understanding of pre-writing, writing and revision process and become extremely proficient writers. This course is best when done over a period of ten weeks, allocating one week per essay.
